Our precision machining services

Precision CNC milling – We utilize CNC milling to create intricate geometric shapes and sophisticated features with extreme accuracy. By carefully controlling the cutting tool’s movement and rotation around the fixed workpiece, we can provide very precise tolerances. CNC milling is one of the best precision machining methods for creating aerospace and automotive components, medical device housings, custom brackets for circuit boards, and similar products.

Precision CNC turning – Our team uses CNC turning for producing highly precise cylindrical and rotational parts with exceptional dimensional accuracy. CNC turning is the ideal precision machining method for producing valves, shafts, pins, bolts, and other rotary components that are essential in a variety of industries.

Wire EDM – Wire electrical discharge machining (wire EDM) employs a thin, electrically charged wire to precisely cut through conductive materials without direct physical contact. This innovative precision machining process is particularly useful for manufacturing complex shapes in hardened materials, or when the product requires very sharp internal corners. We use wire EDM to create components for the electronics and semiconductor industries.

At Highland Machine, we handle both sheet metal fabrication and sheet metal machining in house. We offer a variety of precision machining capabilities and have advanced equipment in our shop. For example, our team uses a 4Kw Mazak Nexus Fiber laser that cuts over four times faster than a traditional CO₂ laser. We also recently added a SPRINT 28|8 lathe by DMG MORI and a PMI precision cutoff saw. With these and other advanced equipment, we can complete jobs that require CNC milling, CNC turning, wire EDM, and laser cutting in our machine shop.
